This Slovakian cultural organisation has a craft centre, school and gallery in the centre of Bratislava at Obchodna 64. The quality and variety of the work done by Uluv craftsmen and women is truly impressive, and a stop by this national institution is more than worthwhile. Take a glance through the exhibition space of contemporary folk art before heading to the Uluv plus shop to pick out your own souvenir hand-crafted from traditional materials like wood, clay, metal, leather, horn or natural fibres. Woven textiles of wool, linen or cotton, decorative laces, embroidery, folk costumes, decorated Easter eggs, glass paintings and honey cakes are all popular choices.

Hi there!
I have to admit I´m no big fan of crafts and folk art in general, but to be honest I like the way ULUV is trying to modernize itself. Except for changes in the shops I saw a wity and very creative poster from the production of ULUV. I recomend to stop there (Obchodná 64) and take a look for yourselves. Will see whether you´ll like as much as i did. Enjoy

It has very nice handcrafts but much more than that, it's like a "how'd they do that" museum. I found some one-of-a-kind souvenirs.
