Good luck trying to figure out what's happening in here - Slovakian post office jargon is befuddling even for locals. If you need to post letters or packages find the window marked 'Prijem Listovych Zasielok' ('The Acceptance of Letter Shipments' in English). We advise against sending valuables by mail, as it's common to pick up a package and discover it's already been opened. The Slovakian post also isn't known for its efficiency. If you really need to get a package off quickly, go to DHL. Once you've mastered mailing a postcard, try one of the post office's more advanced bureaucratic endeavors: paying bills, transferring money, registering vehicles and more! Mon-Fri 7-20, Sat 7-18, Sun 9-14.
