This 3 hectare amendment of the Bratislava Zoo takes you back to the Mesozoic Period with life-size replicas of those threatening thunder lizards, the dinosaurs. A stroll of the park depicts different scenes of different dinos and their daily lives of eating each others' eggs and flesh, which is all there really was to do before the internet. Kids will love it, but unfortunately for parents the kitsch is too modern to be hip just yet (give it a few more decades). While this isn't exactly Crichton's Jurassic Park (though an animatronic T-Rex and 3D film try to give it some life), Dino Park is home to the Wollemi Pine - a Mesozoic plant over 175 million years old! That's like a live Brontosaurus to a botanist! [Free with zoo entry.]
