International Film Festival Underway

The 13th edition of the celebrated Bratislava Film Festival is currently underway, screening a wide variety of films from across the world from both established filmmakers and emerging talent.

There are both competitive (feature, documentary, and short films) as well as non-competitive sections, which include films under specific themes such as Red Westerns or Made in Slovakia.

The Film Festival will also present prize winning pictures arriving from the Cannes and Venice film festivals such as The Tree of Life and Faust. A much-awaited Slovak film will also premiere at the festival - Peter Kristufek's Viditeľny svet (Visible World).

The International Film Festival Bratislava takes place from 4 to 9 November.
