New terminal adds capacity at Bratislava airport
Bratislava airport's newly opened terminal means the airport can handle up to 1.5 million passengers a year. About 900,000 passengers used the airport in the past year.
The new terminal was officially opened on 9th June, but operations took off on 28th June with flights ramping up over the past few weeks.
Improvements include more room for passengers and staff as well as better coordinated security with new screening machines and retail areas, previously lacking.
