Aerial Acrobatics on the Danube
This Sunday the 10th of August, downtown Bratislava will be hosting a breath-taking display of aerial acrobatics as part of the Red Bull Air Race World Series. The competition brings top class pilots to compete in various picturesque cities around the world.
Hannes Arch and Peter Besenyei will be performing thrilling acrobatic maneuvers at top speeds above the Danube River for about 3100 metres. Speeds up to 275 kilometres per hour will be reached by these skilled pilots as they fly through five air gates along the route.
The Air Race begins at 13:30, with the first round of the competition taking place at 14:30 and the second round at 14:55. In between at 14:40 the Flying Bulls will perform.
