Hostels in Bratislava

For fans of gore-fest movies, hostels and Bratislava will conjure up heady (or should we say headless) images of how a holiday can go horribly wrong. But not to worry. Although there are plenty of ways to get into dire straits in a foreign capital, especially after sinking a fleet of beers, getting massacred by a mysterious hostel tribe is unlikely in Bratislava. In fact, we'd go as far as to say that you're more likely to meet a flying pink pekingnese than to have a run in with some bloodthirsty satanists.

Bratislava boasts many points in its favour for the footloose and fancy free. For starters, it's a picturesque place, with a proud tradition of brewing (and drinking) beer. Second, it still stands as one of the less costly cities in Central Europe, so your pennies should go that little bit further.
