Junifest - Beer Festival

Get nicely sozzled in the Slovakian sunshine at the capital's Junifest Beer Festival.

Join in the atmosphere by ordering your very own gigantic two litre potent brew, guaranteed to leave you with a warm, fuzzy moustache every time you sink your chops into its frothy head, as you clank beer glasses with your new Eastern European buddies. Then settle back and enjoy music by one of more than 200 performers who will be on hand to keep the party atmosphere going. Watch out for raffles to win a round the world trip and Hip Hop and R'n'B performances on 6 June.

Wilsonic Festival

If experimental and electronic music are your thing, then check out the just announced line-up at this year's Wilsonic Festival. Taking place along the city's summer beach close to the Danube, the three-day jamboree will feature a smorgasbord of acts including Kelley Polar, The Mole, Catz N' Dogz and Tim Exile. Revellers can take shade from the occasionally fierce Bratislavan sun - or rain - in tents set up around the main stage.
